Elegant Retreat Bathroom
The Challenge
The challenge was a cramped main bathroom that was significantly outdated and lacked the necessary square footage for a separate soaker tub.
The Vision
The vision was to reclaim an unused adjacent closet on the backside of the room to create space for a custom separate shower. To improve clearances and flow, a new pocket door was installed, and a 54-inch soaker tub was sourced to fit the new layout. The owners desired an elegant, bright bathroom where they could relax and enjoy a soak.
The Solution
The solution was a cohesive, spa-like retreat featuring a cozy tub surrounded by a three-sided half wall covered in warm wood tile. The result included a gorgeous antique-style tub filler and a continuous tiled shower floor with a linear drain for barrier-free access. To ensure a unified design, a custom bench seat was crafted to match the vanity top, while a wood-tiled niche was installed to complement the tub walls. Finally, an elegant custom shower door and a chandelier took this newly functional bathroom to the next level.
