Narrow Refined Kitchen
The Challenge
The challenge was a dated, narrow kitchen, dining, and family room that were separated by non-load-bearing walls. To expand the floor plan, these walls needed to be removed to create a more functional and open space.
The Vision
The vision was a modern yet warm living area designed for family gatherings. A key decision was made to incorporate a coffee station flanked by pantries to serve as a dedicated servery. Because the clients loved deep blue cabinets, the design planned for a blue island and a matching blue penny tile for the servery wall.
The Solution
The solution was to pair narrow shaker cabinet doors in a soft off-white with beautiful, grainy wood-textured flooring. The final result featured durable and stunning Dekton countertops, providing ample prep space for easier cooking. The new layout allows guests to move freely around the kitchen while entertaining, creating a space that is a feast for the eyes!
